Area Sales Manager – Wood Panels

Areas to be covered:

Midlands & South (based between London, Oxford & Birmingham)

Remuneration:

£48,000 - £60,000 + 10% bonus

Benefits:

Fully expensed company car & full benefits

Role Responsibilities:

1. Field sales position selling a manufactured range of wood-based panels for the construction/interior sector.
2. Sell through distributors, builder merchants, and buying groups such as Jewson & Travis Perkins.
3. Manage project values ranging from £500 to over £25k depending on size and scope.
4. Present to customers and conduct regular CRM system updates.
5. Utilize Barbour ABI system for project and market analysis.
6. Account management of existing clients and generation of new business opportunities.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

1. Experience in construction field sales.
2. Proven track record selling to builder merchants or distributors.
3. Career stability demonstrated through previous roles.
4. Open to products sold, preferably interior or wood-related.
5. Critical thinker and analytical approach.
6. IT literate and comfortable with CRM systems.
