We are currently seeking an Area Sales Manager (Used Trucks) to work within the DL, HG, YO, HU, DN, LN postcode areas.

The primary focus of this role is to maximize our share of used truck opportunities by selling within this specified geographical area.

What we offer:

Reporting to the Territory Sales Manager, you will be responsible for selling Used Equipment. We offer a competitive, uncapped, commission-based package with a company car.

We are looking for a commercially focused individual who can:

  • Achieve volume targets, increase market share, and coverage.
  • Plan prospecting activities daily in line with sales targets.
  • Provide accurate weekly sales forecasts.
  • Identify customer requirements and conduct site surveys.
  • Prepare accurate quotes for orders using K1SS.
  • Ensure complete and accurate order packs are delivered to Sales Administration.
  • Present quotes effectively to customers, including financial solutions and product demonstrations where appropriate.
  • Promote the full range of Linde products and services to customers.

Tasks and Qualifications:

We are seeking candidates with experience in sales within the forklift or material handling sector, which would be advantageous but is not essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven sales record, be self-motivated, and comfortable working to generate new business and follow up on leads. If you have sales experience and are seeking a new challenge, we would love to hear from you.

You should be commercially minded, IT literate, and possess excellent communication skills.
