Role: Area Sales Manager (Service)

Contract type: Full time, permanent

Carrier now has an opportunity for an Area Sales Manager (Service), focusing on the North West region, particularly Liverpool and Manchester.

You will be responsible for growing the recurring revenue account base, also known as service agreement customers.

What will I be doing?
  1. Prospect, research, and qualify potential customers using Carrier’s equipment installed base, referrals, internal leads, directories, and competitor sites.
  2. Make effective sales presentations, conduct customer needs assessments, answer questions, and secure new maintenance agreements.
  3. Establish rapport and use effective questioning to identify customer needs, budget, decision-making process, and next steps.
  4. Perform site surveys and walkthroughs to evaluate customer needs and create proposals for maintenance agreements.
  5. Utilize sales tools such as Salesforce to track and develop sales opportunities.
  6. Collaborate with operations to deliver quality results on Maintenance Agreements and resolve customer issues.
Requirements

This role is suitable for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments, excel at building relationships, and have excellent customer service skills. It is ideal for results-oriented professionals looking to grow their sales career with a leading HVAC Service organization.

Minimum requirements include:

  • Strong service sales background
  • Familiarity with Chiller, HVAC, or Heat-Pump markets is a bonus or the ability to quickly learn necessary knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to make calls to prospective customers and develop these into project wins
  • UK Driving Licence
  • IT literacy with MS Office skills
