Job Overview

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a B2B Business Development Area Sales Manager who can prospect, develop new business opportunities within the construction industry and negotiate deals to a high level.

Working as the B2B Business Development Area Sales Manager, you will work closely with direct Customers, Window and Door Fabricators, Installers, Trade Counters, Architects, Specifiers, main Construction Contractors, and other clients associated with uPVC window products to deliver a customer-centric experience, enhance their product range, and increase volume to meet production capacity.

You will be responsible for generating new business across Scotland by collaborating with the Commercial and Trade Sales teams to ensure a holistic sales approach.

Responsibilities
  • Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities to drive sales growth across the designated territories.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Fabricators, Installers, Trade Counters, Architects, Specifiers, and main Construction Contractors.
  • Understand customer needs, provide accurate information, and demonstrate product benefits effectively.
  • Identify new market trends and implement sales strategies to stay ahead of competitors.
  • Track customer interactions and provide accurate forecasts.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and report progress.
Candidate Requirements
  • Knowledge of the construction market in Scotland, with a network of industry contacts.
  • Ability to learn about the company’s window products (training provided) and demonstrate commercial acumen.
  • Target-driven with a history of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Articulate, numerate, and capable of communicating at all levels.
  • Confident in delivering successful sales pitches.
  • Experience in the fenestration market is important.
  • Prior dealings with Fabricators, Installers, Trade Counters, Architects, Specifiers, and main Construction Contractors related to uPVC window products.
