Overview:

KFF, a regional food wholesaler part of Sysco, is seeking an Area Sales Manager to join our team. This role is home-based in Reading, with responsibilities across Preston, Lancashire. We offer up to £40,000 plus uncapped bonus potential, a company car or travel allowance, and a home-based contract.

KFF has around 250 colleagues near Maidstone, Kent, and supplies local pubs, restaurants, and caterers. As part of Sysco, the world’s largest foodservice provider, we are ambitious for growth and looking for a proactive sales professional.

Responsibilities:
  • Achieve profitable volume growth by gaining, growing, and retaining customers in your territory.
  • Research target audiences and identify opportunities within your area.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through face-to-face meetings and understanding customer needs.
  • Onboard new customers effectively and manage existing accounts, tracking activity.
  • Partner with customers to understand their growth plans and offer practical solutions and products.
  • Monitor competitor activity and proposals to ensure your customers receive the best local solutions.
Candidate Profile:

We seek a candidate capable of winning new business and maximizing sales with existing customers. The ideal candidate is commercially savvy, proficient in Excel, and skilled at building relationships. A desire for sales is essential. Food industry experience is a plus but not required.
