Location: Homebased / Reading

Salary: Up to £40,000 + uncapped bonus potential, company car or travel allowance, & home-based contract

Job Description:

We are seeking an Area Sales Manager responsible for winning and maximizing independent foodservice business in your designated area. This role involves fieldwork and offers opportunities for career growth within a leading Foodservice company.

Responsibilities:

  • Gain, grow, and retain customers, delivering profitable volume growth against targets.
  • Research target audiences and opportunities within your territory.
  • Build and leverage strong customer relationships through face-to-face meetings, understanding customer needs.
  • Onboard new customers effectively and maintain close relationships with existing accounts.
  • Partner with customers to understand growth plans, add value, and offer practical solutions and products.
  • Monitor competitor activity and proposals to ensure offering the best local solutions.

Qualifications and Skills:

Ideal candidates will be commercially astute, proficient in Excel, and skilled in building and maintaining relationships. A desire for sales is essential. Food industry experience is a plus but not required.
