AREA SALES MANAGER – POWER PRODUCTS DIVISION

We are currently looking for an Area Sales Manager within our Power Products Sales Division, supporting the growth of the WhisperPower brand.

WhisperPower develops, manufactures, and supplies smart electrical systems providing ultra-quiet, vibration-free, cost-effective off-grid electrical power from 500 watts to 100kW. The extensive portfolio includes generators, inverters, battery chargers, and hybrid-style power systems. The product is innovative and market-leading in hybrid and zero-emission energy systems, offering customers low carbon emission solutions enabling them to reach their net-zero carbon goals.

Responsibilities include:

  • Working with monthly objectives and targets to promote the Mobile & Off Grid power solutions and accessories product portfolio.
  • Supporting customers with sales inquiries, technical solutions, service, and parts information.
  • Advising on the correct and best solution for each application in conjunction with the dealer/end consumer and in-house technical team.
  • Producing quotations and technical solutions to include single schematic drawings.
  • Identifying, maintaining, and expanding OEM customers and supporting the dealer network where required for sales, parts, and service.
  • Keeping up to date with market conditions and competitor activity.
  • Attending exhibitions in an active selling role, conducting market research, and supporting build-up and down.

The successful candidate will have knowledge of the marine, mobile, and off-grid markets, and competition. You will be self-motivated and able to plan your area, have excellent presentation skills with the ability to prepare quotations, technical solutions, and single line schematic drawings, and be customer-oriented with proven in-field sales experience.

Applicants will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in technical solution sales (ideally in the Power sectors). Experience in power electronics, installing and servicing power equipment, and an interest in power solutions for mobile and off-grid applications is preferred but not essential.

A full driving license is essential with the successful candidate ideally located around the M62 corridor.
