Job Title: Area Sales Manager - Metal Laminate Surfaces

Industry Sector: Area Sales Manager, Sales Manager, Fabricators, Interior Products, Exterior Products, Laminates, Surfaces, Architects, Interior Designers, Retail Store Interiors, Main Contractors, Shop Fitting, Facades, Commercial Projects, Contractors and Distributors, Distribution, Bonded Panels, Panels, Interior Panels, Decorative Panels, Metal Surfaces

Area to be covered: North & Midlands (Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham)

Remuneration: £45,000 - £50,000 + 5% bonus

Benefits: £7,600 company car & full benefits

The role of the Area Sales Manager - Metal Laminate Surfaces will involve:

1. Field sales position selling our clients manufactured range of bonded panels
2. All of your time will be spent selling to fabricators, specifiers and contractors
3. Targeting a wide variety of sectors including: commercial, education, healthcare, transport, washroom, hospitality and retail (end users include schools, hospitals, high street stores, commercial office, sports centres, labs etc)
4. Ideally 3-4 visits per day
5. Will be required to work closely with internal and external sales teams
6. Working with typical order values of between £1,000 - £250k

The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager - Metal Laminate Surfaces with:

1. Must have field sales experience in the surfaces / laminates or related marketplace
2. Must have experience working on similar commercial projects
3. Ideally specific metal surfaces experience, however open to other similar product backgrounds
4. Would consider a specification sales professional
5. Ideally some prior experience of selling into the commercial and public sector
6. Self-sufficient problem solver with a learn as you develop attitude
7. Sales attributes such as negotiation skills, commercial awareness and strong decision making will be advantageous
