We manage and grow the profitable Leviat UK business with builders merchant customers in a defined geographical area.

Develop relationships with House Builders & end users and strengthen Leviat's brand presence within them.

Key tasks & responsibilities

  • Manage the trading relationship between Leviat UK and merchant & House Builder customers in a defined area.
  • Prioritize focus branches and propose/implement activities to grow Leviat business, including supporting projects with the external commercial team, training branch staff, and merchandising.
  • Ensure a strong 3-way link between End users, Merchant’s sales staff, and the Ancon masonry project team to support targeted project business.
  • Proactively manage live projects, updating CRM with latest market data.
  • Regularly report on competitor activity to enhance Leviat knowledge.
  • Support the launch of new products in the merchant channel.
  • Develop and report against commercial KPI’s.
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve them successfully.
  • Back-sell product orders from end users through to merchants.
  • Identify underperforming customers and create action plans for improvement.
  • Attend exhibitions and conferences as appropriate.

  • Sales skills and ability to develop credibility with customers.
  • A calm, mature approach to problem-solving.

Key functional competencies and experience

  • Knowledge of how Leviat works with builders' merchants, construction processes, pricing, and transactional procedures. Training provided.
  • Good knowledge of UK builders' merchants. Previous sales experience is essential; field sales experience is desirable but not necessary.
  • A clean driver’s license and willingness to drive 20-30k miles annually.
