An exciting opportunity has arisen for a field-based Area Sales Manager to join a market-leading construction materials manufacturer within their specialist hard landscaping division. The role is focused on selling a comprehensive range of high-performance materials – including bedding mortars, jointing solutions, priming slurries and ancillaries – all used across public realm, commercial and urban regeneration projects.
Your week will be spent primarily in the field (4 days), with customer visits split across:
You’ll manage product training, branch support, customer incentives, site demonstrations, and specification follow-through, while tracking purchasing trends and converting leads. This role is part of a well-supported regional sales team, with strong internal resources and technical back-up.

Known for innovation and customer service, they manufacture materials for use in highways, tiling, commercial interiors, public realm landscaping, and internal finishes. Products are sold via a trusted merchant and distributor network, and they are a preferred supplier on a wide range of high-spec projects.

We’re looking for a confident, commercially focused sales professional with experience in the construction materials sector – ideally from a heavyside, building products or landscaping background. You should be:
Experience selling into merchants, working with contractors, or generating demand through specification is ideal. Landscaping product experience is a bonus but not essential.
