Area Sales Manager - Kitchens

Job Title: Area Sales Manager – Kitchens

Industry Sector: KBB, Kitchens, Independent Retailers, Retail Showrooms, Builders Merchants, Housebuilders

Area to be covered: North

Remuneration: £30,000-£35,000 Basic, £55,000-£65,000 OTE

The role of the Area Sales Manager – Kitchens will involve:

  1. Field sales role selling our client’s manufactured range of kitchens
  2. Selling into predominantly independent retail showrooms
  3. A smaller element of dealing with builders merchants and regional housebuilders
  4. Initially focusing 100% on new business development, transitioning to account management after the first 6 months
  5. Growing revenue up to £100,000 in the first 6 months
  6. Onboarding 15-20 independent retail showrooms initially to achieve run rate targets
  7. Typically 3-4 days a week on the road, with the remainder working from home
  8. Aiming for 4-5 meaningful customer visits per day when on the road

The ideal applicant will have:

  • Experience as an Area Sales Manager – Kitchens, preferably from the KBB market
  • Contacts within independent retail showrooms
  • Field sales experience selling into independent retail showroom customers
  • A proactive new business hunter mentality
  • Resilience and a relentless approach
  • A drive to win new clients and grow revenue
  • Results-oriented and organized with good journey planning skills
  • Well-presented
