Area Sales Manager (Industrial Coatings)

Location: Oxford (Covering the South West/Midlands)

Salary: £40,000 (OTE YR1: £45,000 - £50,000) + training + excellent progression + commission + car allowance + 25 days holiday

Your Responsibilities:

1. Manage key accounts; maintain and develop relationships and promote the company's products and services.
2. Sourcing and on-boarding new clients, securing and winning new business for the company.
3. Meet with existing clients face to face, completing appraisals to create long-term business relationships.
4. Plan your diary; book in meetings with existing and potential clients.
5. Source new business within the North, across a varied range of industries and sectors.
6. Complete product trials with clients, working closely with the technical team to provide the most relevant product information.
7. Attend trade shows, exhibitions and networking events to drive new business activities.
8. Prepare and present proposals for new and existing clients.

The Person:

1. Area Sales Manager or similar experience.
2. Technical / Engineering background, ideally with any understanding or knowledge of the industrial paint / coatings industry or similar (chemicals, lubricants, etc).
3. Based anywhere in the South West of England. Happy to travel to client sites 3 days a week, with some overnight stays.
