Job summary

Brakes is looking for an Area Sales Manager to cover Preston and Blackpool on a home-based/field sales basis. You will build strong relationships in the independent sector, drive profitable growth and represent Brakes with pride.

The role offers up to £34,000 plus a great bonus, with a company car or car allowance and a home-based contract. You’ll work with the Independent Sales Team to achieve targets and develop your career within Brakes’ nationwide foodservice network.

Responsibilities

• Build and leverage strong customer relationships with independent sector clients.
• Grow and retain customers delivering profitable volume growth versus targets.
• Partner customers to understand growth plans, offering Brakes' solutions and products.
• Monitor competitor activity and proposals to offer best local solutions.
• Collaborate with the Business Development Manager on new customer requirements and handover.
• Act as a brand ambassador for Brakes in the local market.
