Job Title: Area Sales Manager - Heavy Plant Construction Equipment

Industry Sector: Construction Equipment, Plant Hire, Plant Sales, Heavy Plant, Diggers, Dumpers, Contractors, Civils, Civils Companies, Construction Machinery, Area Sales, Field Sales, Business Development Manager, Regional Sales

Location: East Scotland (ideally based in Dundee)

Remuneration: £35,000 - £45,000 + uncapped commission, OTE £80,000

Role Overview:

The Area Sales Manager - Heavy Plant Construction Equipment will be responsible for:

1. Selling hire and sales of heavy plant construction equipment in the field
2. Engaging with plant hire companies, civils companies, and end users such as Morris Leslie
3. Aiming to achieve a turnover of £5 million once established
4. Managing sales of single machines to large volumes of hundreds
5. Balancing account management with new business development
6. Covering the area from east of Perth to Inverness

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience in construction field sales
• Heavy plant construction experience is preferred but not essential
• Experience selling to plant hire and civil engineering companies
• Construction site experience
• Empathetic, energetic, driven, passionate, and enthusiastic
