Area Sales Manager - Northern Ireland
About the company

Vanrath are partnering with a leading provider of office solutions to recruit an Area Sales Manager for Northern Ireland, with some UK sales. The business is expanding rapidly, and this is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team, take ownership of a sales territory, and play a pivotal role in shaping the company's next stage of growth.

Reporting to senior leadership, the successful candidate will lead a high-performing sales team while driving strategic growth across both new and existing clients. This is primarily a field-based role, with occasional trips to the office (offices in Belfast and Derry/Londonderry) as required.

Salary

Highly negotiable salary on offer + bonus + package - also willing to look at more senior candidates for a director level role.

Your Responsibilities
  • Build, lead, and develop a new sales team to achieve ambitious growth targets.
  • Convert internal leads into long-term customer relationships and actively generate new business.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers across sectors.
  • Analyse sales performance and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with marketing, operations, and project teams to ensure alignment with company objectives.
  • Maintain CRM systems and ensure accurate reporting on sales activity.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Minimum 3 years\' experience in a senior sales role, preferably within office furniture, fit out, or related sectors.
  • Proven track record of leading a team to deliver results and achieve sales targets.
  • Experience managing pipelines and CRM systems.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to drive strategic growth.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to motivate, mentor, and develop a growing team.
  • Confident presenting to clients, stakeholders, and senior leadership.
