Area Sales Manager (FMCG Equipment) – Ringwood

Join a company that supplies bespoke capital equipment to the FMCG industry, investing in developing your skills and technical knowledge. The organisation is a leading industrial food and beverage manufacturer working with high profile brands. They provide tailor-made machinery solutions to the production process, improving efficiency and output for manufacturing sites.

You will be a vital asset to the growth of the business, supported to learn how to sell products and consult with clients to fulfil their needs. You will cover the entire sales lifecycle from lead generation to quotes and tenders, and the role requires technical engineering knowledge across a nationwide patch.

Responsibilities
  • Lead generation and business development in the UK and internationally
  • Strategic planning and market research to identify target areas
  • Attend public events and trade shows to preview products and maintain customer relationships
  • Carry out end-to-end sales cycles with multiple customers
  • Negotiate on price, quotes, specifications and client needs to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Visit customer sites and demonstrate how to use the equipment/machines
Requirements / The Person
  • Degree in an engineering field
  • Experience in an external capital sales role
  • Full UK driving licence
  • British Passport
