About the role

In this role, you will leverage your brand, portfolio, and category knowledge to develop and grow new and existing accounts. You’ll work closely with customers to enhance their offerings and ensure meetings are productive, focusing on maximizing sales performance. Managing budget spend within your region, you'll drive volume, distribution, and retention to ensure maximum profit. You'll also ensure customers trade within credit terms and assist with financial negotiations. Maintaining a professional approach to sales and account management, you'll deliver top-tier customer service. Additionally, you'll build strong partnerships with key suppliers to secure excellent support.

Key performance indicators (KPIs) include achieving margin, revenue, volume, and distribution targets, meeting partnership supplier distribution goals, and fostering strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.

About you

You have a proven track record in a fast-paced sales environment, preferably with On Trade sales experience. Your core skills include influence, negotiation, and problem-solving, along with strong numeric and analytical abilities. You possess a commercial mindset and excel in building relationships internally and externally. Your communication and presentation skills are outstanding, and you are results- and solution-oriented. You prioritize effectively, manage your time well, and adapt to changing markets. You are capable of developing commercial solutions based on opportunities.

A full driving license is required. As this is a field-based role, ideally, you are located near Edinburgh City Centre and familiar with the territory.
