Job Description:

Role: The Area Sales Manager owns the customer base within a specific postcode, building strong relationships with existing and new clients, leveraging Schneider Electric's full range of offers and services. Responsible for achieving targets related to orders, sales, profitability, and strategic initiatives. Develops internal networks for support and deep customer relationships at all levels, leading customer and prospect engagement. The role covers electrical distributors, contractors, and business development.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Area Sales Strategy: Create a growth-oriented sales strategy with clear targets for existing and new customers, aligning with marketing activities.
  2. Financial KPIs: Meet or exceed KPIs for orders, sales, margin, customer acquisition, and opportunities, managing MDF and expenses.
  3. Customer Relationships: Develop and nurture key relationships across channels, leveraging them to grow the business.
  4. Forecasting: Provide quarterly and monthly forecasts, ensuring accurate pipeline management.
  5. CRM Excellence: Lead in CRM documentation and opportunity management, embedding a culture of excellence.
  6. Pipeline Management: Manage project pipelines to ensure a balanced short, medium, and long-term outlook, aligning offers with market segments.

Skills and Attributes: Proven sales management experience, strong influencing and negotiation skills, excellent organization and planning, business acumen, and awareness of market trends.
