Job Title: Area Sales Manager Contract Kitchens

Industry Sector: KBB, Contract Kitchens, Regional Housebuilders, National Housebuilders, Private Developers and Builders

Area to be covered: North (based M62 corridor)

Remuneration: £35,000 Neg. + commission

Benefits: Fully expensed Hybrid car or EV & Benefits

The role of the Area Sales Manager Kitchens will involve:

  • Field sales role selling our clients manufactured range of contract kitchens
  • Selling into regional housebuilders and housing developers/national housebuilders such as Miller Homes, Muir Homes, Barratt Homes, etc.
  • 50% new business development, involving phone calls and face-to-face visits
  • 50% account management of circa 20-30 housebuilder customers
  • Handling projects from 25-500 plots (£60,000-£5m+)
  • Typically 3-4 days a week on the road, remainder working from home
  • Ideally 2-3 meaningful customer visits a day when on the road
  • Working through a housebuilder list as well as own contacts
  • Visiting show plots and marketing suites to identify decision makers
  • Presenting pricing exercises, tending for real projects
  • Attending 3 days of initial training in Europe

The ideal applicant will have:

  • 2+ years kitchen sales experience
  • Potentially a kitchen sales designer aiming to move into field sales
  • Strong new business hunter and account management skills
  • Good phone skills
  • Charismatic, personable, professional, confident
  • IT literate
  • Organised, methodical, good journey planner
  • Well presented
  • Career progression-oriented
