Position: Area Sales Manager

Location: London (primarily north of the Thames)

Salary: £70-80K OTE (uncapped)

Company: Leading biometric access control and workforce management software solutions provider for the construction industry.

The company is expanding its team in London and is seeking an Area Sales Manager. The role involves operating mainly north of the Thames.

Working Pattern: Typically 3 days out in the field and 2 days at home.

The company offers integrated solutions including fire safety, site management software, and site surveillance technology, forming a comprehensive portfolio designed to support safety, security, efficiency, and compliance on construction sites.

Role Responsibilities:

  1. Drive sales growth within the portfolio of Key Account customers.
  2. Manage the sales process, enabling customers to procure enterprise solutions and upsell additional products.
  3. Manage your pipeline, calendar, and working locations to maximize regional success.
  4. Network within your customer base for upcoming projects, tenders, and additional sales opportunities.

This role is focused on 100% account management and maximizing opportunities within existing enterprise customers.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • At least 5 years of sales experience within construction or a related sector, with a strong record of achieving targets.
  • Ability to develop and implement successful sales strategies in a competitive environment.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to close deals and manage relationships.
  • Data-driven with excellent organizational skills to manage forecasts and pipelines.
  • Comfortable with technical selling and utilizing technology to enhance sales performance.
  • Full driver’s license for regional travel.
