Job Overview: We are seeking a commercially driven, technically confident Area Sales Manager to cover the South of the UK. In this key role, you will be responsible for accelerating revenue growth, managing a diverse customer base, and overseeing the complete sales cycle while delivering an outstanding customer experience. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing team, where you will identify new business opportunities, develop key accounts, and collaborate with internal teams to help us exceed our ambitious growth targets.

Regions Covered: This role covers Greater London, South East England, parts of the East of England, East Midlands, and the Central South, including counties such as: Hampshire, Surrey, Sussex, Kent, Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire, and Northamptonshire.

Major Towns/Cities: London, Reading, Oxford, Brighton, Southampton, Portsmouth, Bournemouth, Milton Keynes, Chelmsford, Colchester, Ipswich, Norwich, Cambridge, Luton, Leicester, and Northampton.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Growth: Drive sales and revenue within your territory by identifying new opportunities, managing the sales pipeline, and consistently achieving targets.

Customer Relationships: Build and nurture strong, long-term customer relationships that lead to satisfaction, loyalty, and repeat business.

Product Presentations: Coordinate with our Product Specialists to deliver impactful product demonstrations and tailored solutions.

Commercial Negotiations: Prepare and present proposals, lead negotiations, and close deals effectively.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, customer service, and technical teams to deliver integrated customer solutions.

Sales Reporting: Provide timely updates on sales performance, customer feedback, market developments, and competitor activity.

Requirements:

Degree or equivalent qualifications in business, marketing, or a related field.

Proven success in B2B capital equipment sales – experience in material handling is highly desirable.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Strong track record in meeting and exceeding sales targets.

Proficient in CRM platforms and sales reporting tools.

Flexibility to travel within the assigned region as required .
