Purpose Of The Role

Your role as a full-time, permanent team member will involve representing the Ice Cream brands portfolio on behalf of Unilever, including Ben and Jerrys, Walls, and Magnum.

As part of the Dee Set team, you will work with colleagues responsible for increasing Unilever's ice cream brands' performance, awareness, and availability across various UK smaller-format grocery retailers. You will be the eyes and ears of the brand, conducting retail store visits within a defined territory to drive distribution, availability, sales, and brand engagement, using our data tools to enhance turnover and share.

Responsibilities Of The Role

• Visit a variety of grocery and convenience stores to build strong relationships with key decision-makers and add value to the store.
• Use our data tools to identify insights and implement targeted actions to improve distribution and availability of our products.
• Negotiate with store decision-makers to ensure maximum distribution and availability of Unilever Ice Cream brands, increasing sales, brand awareness, and engagement, while maintaining agreed ranges and plans.
• Act as the ‘eyes and ears' for the brand and Dee Set in-store by identifying issues, opportunities, and gathering retailer and competitor intelligence.
• Follow Dee Set's proven processes to make a positive difference for our clients.
• Perform professional, efficient, and effective store visits.
• Record all visit information accurately on an iPad using our bespoke software system.

• Experienced in sales, with preferably experience in the independents, wholesale, and convenience sectors.
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
• A great communicator who can build credible relationships in stores.
• Passionate about building brand awareness and motivated by results.
• Committed to delivering excellent store execution results.
• Data-driven and able to analyze data to inform actions.
• Holder of a full current UK manual driving license.
