The Purpose of the Role of Area Sales Manager - Welding Equipment & Consumables:

This role is selling a wide range of welding equipment, welding consumables and a wide range of products such as abrasives and PPE that are used in welding and metal fabrication shops around the Tyneside area. The customers are varied, from SMEs to blue-chip manufacturers. There is an established customer base from which to grow sales and increase wallet share, but also there will be a focus on driving new business by bringing onboard new customers.

For the position of Area Sales Manager - Welding Equipment & Consumables, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

• Must have B2B field sales experience
• Enjoys a high activity field sales role and getting in front of customers
• Great relationship and account management skills
• Not afraid to knock on doors and win new business
• Driving licence & experience of using a CRM system
