Area Sales Manager - Homebased / Field Sales – Central London

Salary: Up to £37,000 + great bonus, company car & home-based contract

If you are currently working in Field Sales or have the talent to succeed in the largest Food Service sales force and are passionate about building a career in sales, we offer an exciting opportunity for an Area Sales Manager to join our Independent Sales Team.

Key Accountabilities

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, focusing on the independent sector.
  • Grow and retain customers, delivering profitable volume growth against targets.
  • Partner with customers to understand their growth plans, add value, and offer practical solutions and products.
  • Monitor competitor activity and proposals to ensure you offer the best local solutions.
  • Collaborate proactively with the Business Development Manager to understand new customer needs and ensure smooth handovers.
  • Represent Brakes as a brand ambassador in your local market.

You should be highly service-oriented, putting the customer at the center of your work, providing optimal solutions to support their business. A tenacious and resilient self-starter with a drive to succeed and experience in delivering targets will thrive in this role. You should be motivated to develop yourself continuously, leveraging various learning and development opportunities. There is potential for progression into a wide range of commercial roles within the company.

Familiarity with our modernisation programme and new technologies to enhance customer experience and performance is beneficial. Experience with Salesforce is advantageous but not essential.
