Job description

Location: Leicester

Salary: Upwards of GBP 55,000 per annum

Hours: 8am - 5pm, 40-hour week with flexibility to meet the needs of the role

The Role

Due to growth, the company is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager (ASM) with industry knowledge to join their dynamic sales team.

The ASM will generate revenue by creating opportunities and finding new business. Reporting to the Group Managing Director, you will identify and secure new business opportunities, and maintain existing customer relationships.

Main responsibilities and duties
  • Developing and maintaining long-term relationships with key customers.
  • Traveling within an assigned sales area to present offerings and build brand awareness.
  • Using outbound calls, emails, and face-to-face meetings to close sales.
  • Preparing sales reports for the Managing Director.
  • Researching and executing sales opportunities to grow market share.
  • Meeting set sales goals and targets.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Industry knowledge (essential).
  • Proven sales track record.
  • Ability to manage own area to meet sales targets.
  • Experience in account management.
