Job description

Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager required to join a leading engineering manufacturer with industrial applications across industries such as filtration, defence, aerospace, medical, pharmaceutical and more.


The successful Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager will focus on developing new business opportunities and managing key accounts for industrial textiles and material within the filtration industry across the UK.


The successful candidate will ideally have experience working within the filtration industry selling any product/service ideally within manufacturing, food, biomass waste/power generation or similar.

Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager Role

  1. Will focus on developing new business opportunities and managing key accounts for industrial textiles and material within the filtration industry across the UK.
  2. Maintaining product sales with demonstration, exhibition, and negotiation to achieve targets.
  3. Responsible for pre-sales technical assistance as well as providing end solution/application support for all customer needs/requirements.
  4. Provide after-sales support services and provide technical backup as required to customers, primarily within the filtration industry.
  5. Work remotely/field-based working across the UK with regular visits to customer sites.
  6. Liaise with various engineering departments.

Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager Requirements

  1. Experience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer or similar within a mechanical engineering environment.
  2. Experience selling or managing key accounts for engineering products or services within the filtration industry.
  3. Candidates with proven sales or service experience within the filtration sector are strongly advised to apply.
  4. Full clean driving license.
  5. Willingness to operate remotely with travel to customer sites across the UK.
