Job summary

A recruitment client is seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive growth across Scotland and North East England. You will manage key accounts and promote water management products, including valves and fittings, to plumbers, builders, civil merchants, and installers.

Ideal candidates will have a proven sales track record in building products and a strong understanding of the merchant/distributor sector, with the ability to absorb technical product information and close deals.

Qualifications

• Experience in area sales within building products sector.
• Proven track record of commercial sales success.
• Essential: merchant/distributor sector experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop accounts in Scotland & North East England.
• Promote water management products (valves, fittings, meter connection points).
• Report to Sales Director and drive revenue growth.

Our client is an international manufacturer of Water Management Products. The group now operates more than 160 moulding/extrusion machines, producing over 8,000 products.

They currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Area Sales Manager reporting to the Sales Director. You will promote their well-respected range of water management products, Valves, Fittings, Meter Connection points, etc.

The key customer base will include Plumbers/Builders/Civils Merchants, Distributors, M&E Contractors, Domestic plumbers & Commercial installers.

You will be responsible for the account management and development of this well-established region.

Our client is looking for experience within the building products sector with both a proven track record of commercial sales success and the ability to absorb product information. Previous experience of the merchant/distributor sector is ESSENTIAL.
