Area Sales Manager - Homebased / Field Sales – East Scotland / Inverness

Key Accountabilities

  • Build and leverage strong customer relationships through a genuine interest in the independent sector.
  • Grow and retain customers, delivering profitable volume growth against targets.
  • Partner with your customers to understand their growth plans, add value, and offer practical solutions and products.
  • Monitor competitor activity and proposals to ensure you provide the best local solutions for your customers.
  • Collaborate proactively with the Business Development Manager to understand new customer requirements and ensure smooth handovers.
  • Represent Brakes as a brand ambassador in your local market.

You should be highly service-oriented, placing the customer at the center of all you do, providing solutions that support and enhance their business. Tenacious and resilient, you are a self-starter with the drive and determination to succeed, with a proven track record of meeting targets. You are motivated to develop yourself continuously, learning from diverse skills and experiences, and engaging with our Learning & Development programs. There are opportunities for career progression into various commercial roles.

Confidence with our modernization initiatives and new technologies, such as Salesforce (experience not essential but advantageous), will be beneficial.
