This role involves consultative sales in various sectors, managing existing accounts, and acquiring new business. You will work from home on certain days and visit customers throughout the week. Candidates should have at least 3 years of relevant experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
We are seeking a Field Sales Executive/Area Sales Manager to cover the Midlands and parts of Wales. The ideal location for this role is Birmingham, Coventry, Northampton, or Warwick.
This opportunity is with a well-established manufacturer of premium products, serving a wide range of industries. The role involves consultative sales into sectors including government, leisure, and corporate.
The successful candidate will inherit an established account base in the area and will be responsible for developing these accounts and acquiring new business. The role involves working from home on Mondays and Fridays, preparing quotes and scheduling appointments for Tuesday to Thursday, when you will visit customers according to a call plan.
Given the large geographical area, excellent organization and time management skills are essential. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience as a Field Sales Executive, preferably with experience selling to government departments where persistence is key to securing face-to-face appointments. Professionalism, friendliness, and the ability to prioritize responsibilities are important qualities.
