Area Sales Manager – Tyre Sales | Location: East Coast (Bury St Edmunds as central base) | Salary: £44,000 basic + uncapped commission (average £500–£1,500 per month) | Hours: Monday to Friday

Join one of the UK’s leading tyre distributors

Our client is one of the largest and most respected tyre distributors in the UK, supplying an extensive range of premium, mid-range, and budget tyres to dealers nationwide. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to develop business across the East Coast region.

The Role

As the Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing and expanding sales within your territory. You’ll focus on developing strong relationships with existing independent tyre retailers while identifying and signing up new accounts to grow your customer base.

You’ll use the company’s market-leading tools, systems, and promotional support to help dealers drive sales performance and maximise profit opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and grow sales of tyres across the East Coast region.
  • Manage and nurture relationships with existing local accounts.
  • Identify and secure new dealer partners to increase market share.
  • Utilise company tools and resources to help dealers grow their business.
  • Achieve sales targets and KPI objectives within your assigned territory.
  • Provide product advice, promotional support, and technical guidance to customers.
  • Report regularly on activity, performance, and market trends.
About You
  • Proven field sales experience within the automotive or tyre industry (essential).
  • Strong business development skills with a hunter mentality.
  • Confident communicator who can build relationships quickly.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to manage your own diary.
  • Based within or near the East Coast region (Bury St Edmunds ideal).
  • Full UK driving licence required.
