Package: up to £42k OTE + £25k uncapped

Area Sales Manager

Blu Dog have been engaged to recruit for a growing engineering group who are seeking a proactive and experienced Area Sales Executive with materials handling experience. Ideally you will have worked across materials handling and sold a range of forklift trucks including gas, diesel and electric power and to include counterbalance, reach, power pallet and similar warehouse products.

In Area Sales you will:
  • Be the face of the business and represent the brand
  • Build strong relationships with customers
  • Travel to customer sites to cold call, book site surveys and present bespoke solutions
  • Negotiate to ensure profitability and volume of deals is achieved
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience in a similar area sales position
  • Proficiency in sales, negotiation and objection handling
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines/targets
  • A keen eye for detail and problem-solving mindset
