Job description

We are presently looking to recruit an Area Sales Manager for a Midlands based manufacturer with a global footprint.

The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for developing current customer accounts but with the added responsibility of developing new business to drive growth and profitability in various industries.

The Area Sales Manager will be travelling several days per week to visit current and prospective customers so candidates must be available and willing to travel.

The successful Area Sales Manager should have at least three years selling experience into a variety of technical markets and have an extensive knowledge of technical sales.

Applications are welcomed from candidates who are from a technical engineering background and have moved into a sales function. Equally, if you are an enthusiastic sales professional who has a technical understanding then you should apply too!

Overall, the business has a fantastic infrastructure with support at varying levels including sales, engineering, and project managers to give you every opportunity to sell technical solutions to the end customer.

The role comes with a salary up to 55,000pa, a company car, a generous bonus structure and private health care.
