Area Sales Manager - Electrical & Lighting Products

£45-55K Base Salary | £7-10K Bonus | Company Car | Credit Card | Laptop & Mobile

The Company

A well-established manufacturer of electrical and lighting products, our client has built a strong reputation for quality, service, and product innovation. With long-term partnerships across the wholesale sector and a growing presence with contractors, the business continues to strengthen its position in the market. They already have a strong foothold with wholesalers in Northern Ireland and are now seeking an Area Sales Manager to build on this platform and drive further growth.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with electrical wholesalers while identifying opportunities to expand their presence in Northern Ireland. You will also visit electrical contractors on site where relevant, supporting projects and driving product demand. This is a field-based role with regular customer visits, focused on growing sales and strengthening partnerships across the territory.

For the Position of Area Sales Manager, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria

• Strong sales background in the electrical sector
• Proven track record selling to or working with electrical wholesalers (highly desirable)
• Experience selling other products to similar types of distributors, e.g., builders' merchants, will also be considered
• Self-motivated, commercially aware, and target-driven
• Full, clean driving licence
