Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking an Area Sales Manager for a leading structural steel manufacturer. The role covers the Midlands and the North of England with hybrid working, allowing you to manage your own diary and earn an excellent income.

You will develop relationships with new and existing clients, identify opportunities, maintain a healthy sales pipeline and work closely with estimating and technical teams to secure projects and deliver outstanding service.

Are you an Area Sales Manager or similar with experience within the structural steel industry looking for a varied, autonomous role with a leading manufacturer offering hybrid working, excellent earning potential and the flexibility to manage your own diary?

For over 40 years, this company has been providing structural steel design, fabrication and manufacturing solutions for a wide range of residential, commercial and industrial projects. Through continued success, they have grown to nearly 100 employees and achieved a multi-million-pound turnover.

In this field-based role, you will manage your own territory across the Midlands and the North of England, developing relationships with both new and existing clients. You will identify new business opportunities, maintain a healthy sales pipeline, prepare sales strategies and quotations, and work closely with the estimating and technical teams to secure new projects while delivering excellent customer service.

This role would suit an Area Sales Manager or similar from a structural steel or related background looking to join an industry-leading manufacturer offering autonomy, strong earning potential and long-term career progression.
