Job summary

Pro-Finance invites applications for an Area Planning Lead in London. You will oversee a team of seven planners, manage large-scale area programmes, and ensure schedules align with cost and risk controls, guiding interfaces with Rail authorities and government bodies.

You will apply Primavera P6 standards, lead on What-If analyses, and report performance while growing the planning function within a major European transport programme.

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of planning systems, processes and procedures across large complex programmes.
• Knowledge of Schedule, Cost, Change and Risk Management and their inter-dependencies.
• Experience delivering a senior planning role in a complex delivery project.
• Experience in baseline management, schedule management, cost performance and reporting.
• Experience of re-baselining, funding approval or major contract implementation.
• Leadership of teams and performance management.
• Experience of NEC contracts and related workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead on the integration of the P6 programme from an Area perspective and act as key contact to stakeholders.
• Lead liaison with Network Rail, TfL and DfT.
• Coordinate interfaces to ensure alignment of schedules and change processes.
• Provide insight on past and future performance and produce reports.
• Correlate schedule, cost and risk through integrated solutions.
• Lead What-If scenario planning and provide integrated solutions to programme conflicts.
• Direct the Planning Team, set objectives, and review performance.
• Support Baseline management and head of planning in objectives and best practice sharing.
• Collaborate with project delivery teams and external stakeholders to integrate time, cost and quality data.
