Mencap are offering an exciting opportunity for an Area Operations Manager to join our Regional Management team, supporting services across the Waveney area and surrounding regions on a permanent 30 hour a week contract, with the possibility of a full time position dependant on growth of the services.

As an Area Operations Manager, you will oversee established services, working closely with Service Managers to ensure our support is safe, person-centred, and delivered to the highest standards.
You'll lead with purpose, inspire teams, and help shape a culture where both people we support and staff can truly thrive. Your role will involve building strong relationships, reviewing and improving service performance, and coaching managers to be the best leaders they can be. You'll use data and KPIs to drive quality and effectiveness, manage financial risks and opportunities, and ensure all services meet the required regulatory standards.
We're looking for someone with experience in the care sector or similar people-focused environments, who understands the regulatory framework and brings a proactive, supportive, and inclusive leadership style. You'll need to be confident managing multiple services and budgets, and have a proven ability to motivate and inspire teams through change and growth.
