Job summary

JDP in the United Kingdom is seeking a Regional Operations Manager to lead seven branches, coach Branch Managers, and drive sales growth and customer service excellence across the region. You will remove barriers, set clear plans for short- and long-term targets, and work with cross-functional teams on national projects.

You'll be a visible leader, developing people, monitoring performance and ensuring company standards are met while travelling extensively within your region.

Job description

This is not a traditional operational management role focused on day-to-day branch administration. Instead, you will act as a commercial coach, mentor and leader for approximately seven branches, empowering Branch Managers to take ownership of their businesses while providing the support, challenge and direction needed to achieve outstanding results., As Regional Operations Manager, you will work closely with Branch Managers to develop high-performing branches that consistently deliver sales growth, strong margins and excellent customer service. You will help identify opportunities, remove barriers to success and ensure every branch has clear plans in place to achieve both short-term targets and long-term growth. Working alongside three other Regional Operations Managers, you will also contribute to a variety of strategic national projects that support the wider business and our continued expansion.

You’ll act as a visible leader and ambassador for the business across your region.

You may currently be an Area Manager, Regional Manager, Operations Manager, Senior Branch Manager or Commercial Manager within merchanting, construction products or a related sector. Most importantly, you’ll be passionate about developing people and helping businesses grow.

The branches within this region are Alfreton, Cambridge, Norwich, Colchester, Berkhamsted and Ashford. Whilst a central location would be ideal we would welcome applications from candidates from across the region.
