Job Title: Area New Business Development Manager

Location: Crowthorne House, Wokingham

Brand: Romans

Salary: up to £50,000 OTE

Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:45am to 6pm, Friday 8:45am to 5:30pm

Job Summary and Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate for this position will be extremely motivated and career-driven, with experience in the current rental market.

Duties will include:

  • Carrying out Lettings valuations and listings
  • Working alongside our new business generation team to identify and maximize business opportunities (both within Lettings and other areas of the business)
  • Delivering exceptional customer service over the phone and face to face
  • Working towards and achieving personal and department targets
  • Building strong relationships with local property owners
  • Understanding the local market and competitors' activity
  • Maintaining the Group’s Business Generation policy and maximizing all ancillary sales
  • Successfully managing a small team of valuers to drive conversion rates for carried out market appraisals.

Skills required:

  • Driven and competitive mindset to achieve required targets
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and manage a team to ensure targets are met
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Good knowledge of the local property market
  • Previous experience of working as a Lettings Valuer
  • Enjoy working with the public over the phone and face to face
  • Ambitious and hardworking
  • Must hold a full UK valid driving license
