This position reports to

Product Line Market Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to identify new business opportunities and enhance existing ones by supporting the Sales organization with relevant product and market knowledge. You will support the defined Sales organization and customers throughout the sales process in your assigned area. Your expertise will be showcased through participation in sales strategy discussions, setting short-term and long-term goals, and negotiating the division sales budget.

You will mainly be responsible for:

  1. Creating division sales plans for your area in coordination with the Sales team.
  2. Analyzing customer needs and competitor offerings using market information and insights from the Sales team.
  3. Ensuring effective marketing actions, such as product launches, and communicating the value proposition of products, systems, services, and packages to the Sales team and customers.
  4. Supporting the Sales team and customers in selecting technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions, and assisting in the preparation of competitive and strategic offers.
Qualifications for the role
  • Proven success in achieving sales targets.
  • 5+ years of sales leadership experience, with a track record of building, motivating, and empowering multicultural teams.
  • Strong knowledge of international B2B sales of manufactured or engineered products.
  • Degree or relevant experience, preferably with an engineering or scientific background.
  • Prior experience with online water analysers.
  • Knowledge of municipal, industrial, and energy markets.
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally up to 35-40%.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
