Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Proactive recruitment and interviewing of technical candidates like you and appraising their suitability.
  • Business development with clients including working to a strategic business plan.
  • Assisting Senior Management with Professional Service Frameworks and contracts.
  • Colleague management and support including mentoring, annual colleague progression reviews, planning training and career development.
  • Attending networking events, socials and CPD seminars.
  • Progressing your technical career on a secondment with a public or private sector client.
  • Experience in civil or structural engineering, traffic engineering or transport planning, or related discipline
  • Experienced in a public sector organisation or consultancy environment.
  • Capacity for learning business development, recruiting and commercial skills.
  • Knowledge of local marketplace for people like you.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • A positive outlook and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Comfortable amongst seniors, peers and juniors.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Experience in, or aptitude for people management.
  • Ambition to develop management skills and a quick learner.
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Degree or HNC level qualification or have equivalent UK experience.
  • Membership of a relevant professional Institution.
