Job summary

Mears Housing Management is seeking an Area Manager to support the delivery of a new service designed to assist a vulnerable client group and avoid homelessness. The role involves managing a team of Resident Welfare Officers, ensuring housing standards, and working in partnership with the Probation Service and other agencies.

The position is hybrid, combining home working with regular site visits and meetings.

Qualifications

• Previous line manager experience is required.
• Full UK Driving Licence is required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
• Flexible working approach and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the Resident Welfare Officer Team.
• Ensure accommodation is procured and maintained to required standards.
• Lead, manage, motivate and support staff to deliver contractual requirements.
• Deliver service with safeguarding and welfare considerations and meet KPIs.
