Job summary

Kumon Educational Uk Co Ltd in Bristol is seeking an Area Manager to develop Kumon study centres and drive retention and growth targets. You will manage a distant, strategic role, ensuring franchisees understand and align with Kumon’s franchise agreement and deliver results.

You will coach franchisees, monitor compliance, boost student enrolment, advise on marketing, and network to recruit new candidates. A full UK driving license and right to work in the UK are required.

£30,000 rising to £32,000 after six months

There are more that 650 Kumon study centres across the country and each franchisee is promised a dedicated Area Manager to give them thesupport and guidance needed to succeed.

We are looking for an Area Manager to develop the study centres proactively and effectively, enabling them to meet retention and growth targets.

You will maintain a consistent study centre visit schedule, with the skills to manage diverse operations from a distance. You should have a strategic mindset and the conviction to lead by example, modelling what good looks like to others.

The goal is to ensure that each franchisee will meet and exceed expectations by ensuring complete understanding of, and alignment with, the franchise agreement.

Ideally, you will have the benefit of extensive business, sales, and leadership experience.

You will be expected to:

Recruitment:

• Stage 1 - Telephone Meeting with Recruitment Coordinator
• Stage 2 - Orientation Meeting; including proficiency tests in Maths, English, and Aptitude
• Stage 3 – Presentation to a panel, followed by a competency-based interview
