- 5+ years UK experience within a public, private, or third sector such as a consultant, contractor, Local Authority, or Client organization
- A self-starter who can take initiative and proactively develop new business relationships and drive business development activities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Motivated, highly organized, and diligent
- A full UK driving license
- Demonstrable experience managing people, either directly or as part of a project team
- A track record of working in or leading multi-disciplinary engineering design teams
- Excellent people skills
- Ability to develop and build mutually beneficial stakeholder relationships (internal design teams, consenting bodies, statutory authorities, key consultees, and government departments)
- High level of commercial awareness and an aptitude for business development
- Experience in business development, sales, or recruitment
- Management and control of a project’s budget/finance
- Project management and/or leadership experience
