About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Area Cleaning Manager to join our team! As an Area Manager, you will be field-based and travel between site locations in and around Scotland. A company vehicle and mobile phone will be provided, along with all necessary cleaning equipment.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Attend sites to resolve cleaning issues and ensure standards are met
  • Clean all areas of client sites, including hoovering floors, cleaning, and sanitising surfaces
  • Ensure cleaning standards are delivered according to specifications
  • Follow health & safety legislation at all times
  • Respond to ad hoc requests from Management
  • Escalate concerns or site-level issues to the Area Manager
  • Complete stock checks and follow procedures for ordering supplies
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, Regional Managers, and other Area Managers
  • Support training and inductions for new cleaners

Qualifications And Skills

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, methodical, and organised
  • Self-motivated, confident, approachable, and flexible
  • Excellent client focus with a proven track record in facilities management or contract cleaning
  • Team player capable of motivating others
