Area Maintenance Technician

Salary: £28,540.46 per annum

Location: Stoke, Congleton, Newcastle under Lyme

This is a permanent vacancy that will close in 16 days at 23:59 BST.

Job Purpose

This key position involves carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across multiple site locations. The role focuses on non-technical repairs and minor PPMs, supporting planned and reactive maintenance of electrical and mechanical plant works at various sites. All tasks must be completed to high standards, efficiently, cost-effectively, and in compliance with health and safety legislation.

Key Accountabilities
People
  • Drive company culture, values, and behaviors.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and practices.
  • Attend necessary training courses.
Performance
  • Prioritize and complete minor maintenance and repairs within agreed timescales.
  • Complete all PPMs and reactive maintenance schedules accurately and on time.
  • Respond promptly to service requests, assess requirements, and carry out repairs.
  • Ensure availability and functionality of tools and equipment.
  • Attend other sites within the division as required.
  • Maintain quality standards and represent the company professionally.
  • Support colleagues with maintenance tasks.
  • Meet KPIs and update the Mercury system with live job data.
Process
  • Comply with health and safety policies.
  • Complete mandatory training and modules.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management.
  • Ensure costs are approved.
Other
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
