About the Opportunity

The Area Engineering Manager (AEM) role is to deliver a portfolio of projects in the Front End Delivery Team (FED) to support the safe operation of Sellafield Facilities.

The successful candidate will lead and direct a multi-disciplinary engineering team to deliver a technical solution for a portfolio of projects that meets the corresponding requirements, associated performance conditions, and constraints in the Functional or Requirements Specification for the area, to the agreed time, cost, and quality.

• Identify the root cause of problems experienced on operational facilities
• Elicit and agree requirements with the Client
• Lead the decision-making to identify the scope required to meet the client requirements
• Develop delivery strategies for the timely implementation of the agreed solution
• Conduct the Principal Designer role associated with the projects being delivered.
