Job Description:
- Responsible for induction, training, development, and appraisals of all employees in line with business standards.
- Identify individual training needs and ensure appropriate training is delivered.
- Ensure designated areas and short-notice areas are cleaned to a high standard.
- Ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are used correctly.
- Ensure all employees report to work in uniform.
- Maintain a clean and tidy working environment.
- Ensure a safe working environment.
- Perform special cleaning as necessary.
- Dispose of refuse safely, including incineration if needed.
- Replenish soap and towels.
- Conduct department stock takes.
- Store equipment correctly and ensure it is in good working order.
- Record lost property accurately and promptly.
- Meet all deadlines for work completion.
- Handle client queries effectively to ensure satisfaction.
- Cover in the absence of cleaners and mobile cleaning specialists.
- Carry out cleaning schedules satisfactorily.
- Ensure duties checklists are completed daily.
- Report problems to management and security as needed.
- Maintain correct timekeeping and attendance, adhering to signing policies.
- Discuss shortfalls of hours with the client and liaise on solutions.
- Ensure all cleaning operatives wear security IDs.
- Follow security procedures, secure keys, and return them at shift end.
- Generate weekly reports every Monday for the previous week.
