Position Overview:

The Area Cleaning Manager will be responsible for overseeing multiple cleaning contracts within the assigned area. This role requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual who can effectively manage a team of cleaners, maintain excellent relationships, and ensure all cleaning services are delivered to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and supervise a team of cleaners, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
  2. Develop cleaning protocols and ensure all team members adhere to them to maintain consistency and quality.
  3. Monitor team performance and conduct regular site audits to ensure all cleaning services meet the company’s standards.
  4. Assign duties and schedules to team members, ensuring optimal coverage and timely completion of tasks.
  5. Maintain communication with clients to understand their cleaning requirements and address any issues and concerns promptly.
  6. Conduct regular inventory checks and order necessary cleaning supplies to ensure adequate stock levels.
  7. Prepare and maintain accurate reports on cleaning activities, budget, and team performance.
  8. Continuously seek opportunities to improve cleaning processes and efficiency.

Experience:

  1. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a supervisory or management role in the cleaning industry.
  2. In-depth knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, and chemicals.
  3. Strong leadership and communication skills.
  4. Ability to multitask, prioritise, and meet deadlines.
  5. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  6. Proficiency in using computer systems and software (e.g., Microsoft Office, scheduling software).
  7. Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation.
