We're looking for an experienced and dynamic Area Manager to join our team!

The Role: As our Area Manager, you will play a vital role in representing the company and ensuring our cleaning teams consistently deliver the high-quality service our clients expect. You will lead and support a team of supervisors and cleaners, overseeing operational performance and maintaining the highest standards of service across your area. In this key leadership position, you'll be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, maintaining strong client relationships, and fostering the development of your team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the contracted cleaning provision at various sites across South Yorkshire, including educational establishments.
- Monitor and ensure the highest standards of cleaning services are consistently delivered.
- Lead, train, and motivate cleaning supervisors and staff to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Resolve site staff disciplinary and grievance issues as required, undertaking disciplinary investigations and hearings, as well as sickness and absence monitoring.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor performance, address client concerns, and ensure compliance with safety and cleaning standards.
- Work with other internal teams to manage scheduling, stock, and equipment maintenance.
- Ensure adequate provision of sickness, holiday, and vacancy cover for site staff in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
- Attend monthly meetings with senior management to report on performance and challenges.
Our Successful Candidate will have:
- Proven experience in operations management or a similar role, ideally in the cleaning industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning operations.
- Full UK driving license as company van is provided.
- Flexibility to travel between sites as needed.
