Job Opportunity: Area Chef

Location: Norfolk Based

Salary: Up to £17 per hour with Full-Time Hours

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Area Chef to join our central team at Red Cat Independent Pubs. The successful candidate will report directly to the Executive Chef team and will oversee kitchen management across up to 35 pubs, restaurants, and hotels nationwide.

At Red Cat Independent Pubs, we focus on delivering high-quality, fresh, and seasonal British gastro-pub cuisine. Menus vary by location, so no two sites are identical. The ideal candidate will be based near Norfolk and primarily travel between Eastern-based sites, with occasional nationwide travel.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing senior Chefs and launching new menus
• Provide training and mentorship to junior chefs
• Support kitchen operations on-site, including during service
• Cover Head Chef holidays and vacancies when needed

Requirements

• Driving license and access to a car (due to remote locations)
